The purpose of this essay was to find an understanding of what factors whichaffect refugee reception in two municipalities in the southern part of Sweden, themunicipality of Vellinge and the municipality of Landskrona. Three interviewswere made with three local politicians and these interviews were then analysedusing postcolonial theory. With the help of Matthew J. Gibney we identified sevenfactors which aided us in the analysis these were: Integration history, Ethnicaffinity, Determining who is a refugee, The wealth of the municipality, Thehousing market, The labour market and The action of other municipalities.We found that these factors were all useful in creating an understanding ofrefugee reception in the two municipalities. However they affected themunicipalities differently.

Syftet med denna uppsats var att studera supporterkulturerna hos Helsingborgs IF och Landskrona BoIS samt att göra en jämförelse dem emellan med utgångspunkt från de uppfattningar som finns angående städerna och lagens supportrar. Avsikten var att behandla hela supporterkulturen och även alla ?vanliga? åskådare på arenorna. Därför genomfördes en enkätundersökning bland åskådarna på en hemmamatch för vartdera laget. Publiken på båda matcherna hade överlag en god ekonomi.

Den avdelning på fyra, sedermera tre skvadroner, av Skånska husarkåren som var förlagd till Landskrona under perioden 1908-1926 kom att bli det sista regemente som staden inhyste. Försvarsbeslutet från 1925 innebar en total avveckling av avdelningen i Landskrona och satte således punkt för en lång historia av militär närvaro i staden.I föreliggande uppsats granskas och analyseras den lokala pressens inställning till husarerna under den period de var förlagda till staden. Skillnader och likheter i rapporteringen kring husarerna belyses med utgångspunkt i tre tidningars politiska agendor. De tre aktuella tidningarna är Arbetet, Landskrona Posten och Korrespondenten Landskrona Tidning. Undersökningen visar att Arbetets och Landskrona Postens ursprungliga inställning kvarstår vid tiden för Landskronaavdelningens avveckling medan den antyder att Korrespondentens inställning har reviderats något. .

Balansen mellan artiklar med ett positivt samt negativt anspråk har en jämnfördelning och stämmer även braöverens med den statistiska situationen av brottslighet och segregation som råder i Landskrona.Däremot kan man se stora avvikelser mellan verkligheten, den medialt förmedlade verklighetenoch den önskade profil och image som Landskrona eftersträvar i sitt varumärkesarbete. Tydligaparalleller kan dras mellan den bild av Landskrona stad som Landskrona Posten förmedlar till läsaren och den statistiska verkligheten där mångkulturen är utbredd och antydan till segregation finns, likväl som brottsstatistiken är hög. Självklart är det möjligt att förändra stadens profil och image åt önskat håll men framförallt måste tydliga riktlinjer, stark tro inom kommunen och en statistisk och trovärdig förändring ske innan detta är möjligt. Däremot är inte den bild förmedlad av Landskrona Posten av så stor inverkan som det från början tycktes verka.

Syfte: Att beskriva och analysera Landskrona kommuns förvaltningars utformning och användning av verksamhetsmått som styrinstrument. Metod: Det empiriska materialet är huvudsakligen hämtat från olika kommunala dokument, så som budgetskrivelser, årsredovisningar och interna måldokument. Som komplement till de skriftliga dokumenten har intervjuer med ansvariga tjänstemän genomförts. Studien är avgränsad till att omfatta tre av Landskrona kommuns förvaltningar, de tre största. Forskningsansatsen är abduktiv med en kvalitativ metod.

Uppsatsen tar sin utgångspunkt i den problembild Landskrona som stad omgärdats av sedan en tid tillbaka, där media och allmänhet byggt upp ett negativt rykte kring staden. Utifrån teorier om etnicitet, klass och ungdomsproblematik görs en diskursanalys av denna problematik. Uppsatsens andra del är en enkätstudie av elevers uppfattning om sin vardag på en skola i Landskrona, där fokus dels läggs på trivsel och trygghet, men även på gängbildningar. Problembilden läggs till elevernas uppfattningar för en större diskussion kring, och analys av relationen dem emellan, samt följder av detta..

This study is about the work of including immigrants to the Swedish society. The reason that we chose Landskrona community is that it is a town with a high population of immigrants. The purpose of this work has been to examine how projectleaders reflect about the work of integration in Landskrona and their point of view regarding the term integration. Our questions were: what is the projectleaders view on the term integration, how does the projectleaders reflect about the work of integration in Landskrona, how would the projectleaders like the work of integration to be, how does the projecleaders reflect about the future work of integration in Landskrona.We used a qualitative method to do this study and interviewed six persons who all work in various projects, that are working for including immigrants to the Swedish society.Our main results in our study is various kinds of thoughts and reflections of the work of integration in Landskrona, but there were some things that were more approaching than others. There is a high ambition of integrate immigrants into the Swedish society in Landskrona and the projectleaders had all many reflections of their work.

In this thesis I discuss and analyze the integration policy of the community Landskrona, if they have any at all and how they in that case use it in their daily work to counteract the obvious problems with segregation, racism and negative attitudes towards people with other ethnic background than Swedish.During the second half of the 20th century Sweden has received a lot of immigrants who built our country and contributed to the rich variety of people we see today. Landskrona was one of the towns who received a lot according to its size, and with the economic crisis in the 1990s it was easy to blame the immigrants for our own deteriorated situation.Today Landskrona is working for an implementation of integration policies in all institutions and organizations to make it a matter of course just like equality. It is not the ethnic background that is the problem; it is being an outsider and economically segregated that lead to resistance of the society. This paper investigates the level of consciousness regarding to the diversity work in the municipalities of Malmö, Lund and Landskrona. The study focuses on persons in a middle management position connected to various spheres of activities in each municipality. A survey concerning each municipality's diversity plan, diversity work, recruiting process, education and knowledge was used to investigate the participants' consciousness. The survey poses similar questions regarding equality between the sexes to compare the results from each field. The paper presents an overview of the development of Sweden's labour market and society, and gives an account for the differences between immigrants and natives positions in the labour market.
